A Non-Sunny Sunday

Sunday meant church in a new ward. After a 50 minute tube ride and a 15 minute walk, we finally made it to church. The ward is so diverse and all the people were so friendly. We had one gentleman talk to us for about 30 minutes; he was hilarious too. They were eager to put us to work and within an hour of being there a member of the bishopric tracked me down and asked me to give a talk. With the exception of the long journey to and from I think I'll very much enjoy being part of that ward. The rest of Sunday didn't include much else. Just a nap and a quick fireside from the Stake President. And, of course, falling asleep to the sound of rain.
